YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Becki White has been teaching Pilates since 2006 and is a Level 3 Pilates and Level 4 Specialist in Exercise for Lower Back Pain Instructor, registered with the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMPSA) and insured with FitPro.  For further information please visit www.cimpsa.co.uk.   The exercises adheres to the original format of Joseph Pilates work and whether you are working in an individual session, small group or class you will be encouraged to make the most out of your workout. 

PRIVATE 1:1 SESSIONS

£40 for initial 1:1 session which will be taken in your own home and lasts approximately an hour and a half.  This will includes postural analysis and medical screening, the principles and initial Pilates ‘set up’ discussing neutral alignment and undertaking Pilates exercises specific for your posture type.  Further sessions are charged at £35 per hour.

Equipment – all equipment will be provided.

GROUP CLASSES

Classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and are limited to a maximum of 15 people per class.  There are many different levels to each Pilates exercise and clients will be encouraged to work at their appropriate level progressing to the more advanced options.  All participants are asked to advise the instructor of any injuries/medical conditions prior to the commencement of each class.

In order to maximise the benefits that Pilates has to offer, clients are advised to follow a course that is progressive. Courses run monthly at a cost of £7 per class.  Advance payment is due in full on the last class of the month for the following month.  Missed classes are not refundable if you are unable to attend. Credit sessions for an alternative class will be offered where possible for absences, according to availability within the current block. Payment methods accepted: cash, cheques or contactless/chip and pin or online via Santander Commercial Bank Account No: 01239287, Sort Code: 72-06-00.  Please use your name as payment reference.

It is possible for new clients to join a block part way through, space permitting, and pay £7 for their first class prior to committing to a full course.  A medical screening form will need to be completed prior to commencing your first class.

You will need to wear comfortable clothing such as leggings and t-shirt.  As the majority of the exercises are completed lying on your back, tummy or side please try to avoid clothing with zips or buttons as these may make your Pilates experience a little uncomfortable.  Shoes are not worn during class.  You may wear socks or go barefoot

Classes are very popular, often with a waiting list. Please consider this if you choose to “sit out” a block as the space will be offered to another client waiting to attend classes.

Equipment – mats, neck/knee pads and dynabands are provided.  You may wish to purchase a Pilates soft ball (available to purchase in class at £7).
